Pastor Tyler arrived in Melrose in August of 2024. He has served in churches in Georgia and Florida. Before coming to FBC, he was an associate pastor to students for several years. Tyler earned his Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Biblical Theology and Missions from Truett McConnell University in 2016; later received his Master of Arts in Theology in 2019; and now is currently working on his Doctorate of Religious Studies concentration in Pastoral Ministry at Trinity College of the Bible an Theological Seminary. 

He is married to his beautiful bride, Casslyn, and they have wonderful 3 children. Tyler's passion in ministry is preaching and shepherding people. He loves doing life with those he ministers to and seeing people grow in a love for Jesus. Tyler's heartbeat for the church is for them to get in the Word of God and to share the message of the gospel to a lost and dying world. 

If Tyler is not preparing something for the church, you will see him reading, playing with his kids, dating his wife or enjoying anything Duke Basketball year-round (he will probably be wearing Duke at some point of any day).
